Welcome to the Collinsville Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #103

We welcome you to the City of Collinsville’s Fraternal Order of Police website. The Collinsville Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #103 represents 38 non-administrative sworn officers serving the community of Collinsville. This website seeks to inform, not only law enforcement, but anyone seeking knowledge of the workings of our lodge. You as a vistor to this site will be able to view on-going projects, labor issues, and upcoming charity events sponsored or endorsed by the Collinsville Police Department FOP Lodge.

We are currently in the process of forming the Fraternal Order of Police Auxillary and the Fraternal Order of Police Associates to further support the mission of our lodge in a variety of ways.

We want to thank you for visiting our website. We encourage your comments by emailing us at webmaster@collinsvillefop.org. This website will be updated on a regular basis, referencing new information of interest to law enforcement officers and the community alike.

Sincerely,

Mark Krug

Union News in Collinsville and the Surrounding Area

Collinsville Civilian FOP reorganizes.

Collinsville's Civilian FOP recently held a meeting to discuss a few issues that our members deemed necessary to the success of our organization. The first matter-at-hand was adopting by-laws, as we currently do not have any. T/C Jackie Bean provided members in attendance with a copy of by-laws that served as an example of what our union could use as a framework for acquiring our own such standards. A unanimous decision was made to do so, however, union members agreed to look over the example and meet again in the near future with our suggestions to improve and individualize the model.

Secondly, we voted on establishing new officers to represent the Civilian FOP. This is an important year for our union, as our current contract is set to expire at the end of July, therefore, negotiations wil be taking place shortly. Without opposition the following people were voted to serve as both officers and the negotiating committee:

T/C Marissa Vickers, president
Deputy Clerk Tracine Kempfer, vice-president
T/C Jackie Bean, secretary

We anticipate holding more meetings in order to encourage discussions and the exchange of information and ideas among all members, as well as with management.
